Comments: This cosplay represented the jump from casual cosplay to actually cosplaying seriously for us. It taught us a lot about wigs, makeup, and served as an intro to prop making. It was also our first cosplay as a duo under the guise of Deep Dive (though we hadn't thought of a name yet). We decided to carve our weapons out of foam to get the contours of the Bond of Flame and chakrams. We quickly found that foam doesn't make a very good base since it breaks so much even when smothered in a thousand layers of gesso.
